Shaneka Dicks

Shaneka Dicks is originally from Prince Georges’ County, MD. She completed her B.S. in Psychology in 2014, where she was an active student-athlete and Resident Assistant. Shaneka has worked in case management for over five years, first in Orlando with teens with a program called Community Action Team and in Central Texas area with aged-out foster youth. While working as a case manager, Shaneka has also served youth groups in churches they called home alongside her husband, Troy. After moving to Arlington, TX, Shaneka is currently working to complete a MSW (Social Work) and later hope to provide community and care to youth and families in need in the greater DFW area.

Troy dicks

Troy is a native of Charleston, SC and was raised in Madison, WI. He completed his undergraduate studies in 2016 at Chowan University. He was a division II football player and lead the Fellowship of Christian Athletes on campus in Murfreesboro, NC. After a brief stint in Orlando post-graduation, Troy began theological studies at Truett theological seminary in Waco, TX. He was able to serve in local churches (Willow Grove Baptist Church and Church Under the Bridge), help reestablish the Baptist Student Ministries at Baylor and advocate for his peers as president of the Truett Black Seminarians Association. After Graduation in May 2021, he accepted his current role of Youth and Children’s Minister at Bethlehem Baptist Church in July of 2021. Troy married his wife Shaneka on December 31st, 2014. Troy is passionate about music, sports, and supporting the youth who are will lead our tomorrow.

Ebony M. Turner

Ebony M. Turner, is co-owner of Kids Karevan, a rideshare service for students, typically, ages 10-18 years old.

Ebony is a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin (B.A.) and St. Mary’s University School of Law (J.D.). This is her 20th year practicing law in Texas, and she has been licensed to practice in federal court since 2012. Her practice is primarily criminal defense. From 2015-2019, she served as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Tarrant County College.

She currently serves as the President of the Historic West Mansfield Texas Community Development Corporation Board of Directors and is the Founder of the Black Mansfield Moms Group.

Ebony is also a member of: Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Dallas Black Criminal Bar Association, Arlington Chapter of the NAACP, Arlington Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and Bethlehem Baptist Church, Mansfield, Texas, and is a volunteer-in-training with Unbound.

Ebony is the proud wife of almost 21 years to her husband, Allan, and a mother of 3 busy kids ages 16, 14, and 8!

Amanda 'Mandy' Sneed

Amanda 'Mandy' Sneed, is co-owner of Kids Karevan. She is passionate about getting kids to their destination with kare! Mandy is a graduate from The Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy with her Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree. This year, 2021, marks her twenty-first year as a Pharmacist and sixteenth year as a pharmacy owner.

Mandy is also a managing partner of a large non-profit youth sports organization operating in the Arlington-Mansfield area. As such, she has many years of transporting student athletes to their destinations safely.

Mandy also participates on various committees in MISD as well as PTA chair at her son's school. In addition, Mandy is part of the Diversity Partners at the University of Texas at Arlington College of Business.

Mandy and her husband have had the pleasure of raising their 3 daughters and 2 sons in the Arlington area over the last 17 years.

Mandy is excited to partner with busy parents get their busy kids to their destination with kare!
